Work experience of 25 years in the semiconductor industry from positions in R&D, Technology, Production, Strategic Planning, Quality and Customer Support at leading global companies Siemens, Infineon, Qimonda, Swatch Group, u-blox and Sensirion.

Quality Management in positions in production, business lines, customer support and headquarter functions. Strong focus on customer support during qualifications and volume productions in the Automotive Industry to leading Tier 1 and OEM. Driving Continuous improvement programs using 6 Sigma and 8D methodologies with key suppliers. Intense experience with internal and external audits based on common industry standards like ISO, IATF and VDA.

Deep knowledge of the semiconductor supply chain working for 10 years in high-volume wafer factories (Fabs) and many years with subcontracted wafer, bumping, package and module assembly lines.

Strong international background by working in several large projects with global teams and leading Asian partners. Very rich intercultural understanding being based and living for several years in Taiwan, China and Japan and traveling intensely to partner factories.

Diploma in Physics and a Dr. Degree in Optoelectronics. As physicist by nature curious and enjoying the never-ending innovation and fascinating world of semiconductor devices and applications.

Member of the VDE ITG Working Groups 8.5 Reliability of Integrated Circuits and 8.6 Reliability & Qualification. Regular attendance of international expert conferences like IPFA, ESREF and Empa (ETH) Seminars.

Certificates: 6s Green Belt, Auditor VDA 6.3, IATF System Audits 1st/2nd Party, Automotive Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, 8D, Project Management (Siemens/Infineon)
